To book these ships, you will need to visit the shipping service office in the respective city. The official Andaman ship schedule website usually posts details about the timings of these ships around 15 days prior to their departure. It's important to note that there are no more than one to two ships available each week, so it's important to plan your travel accordingly.


Q. How to commute from Port Blair to the other islands?

A. Private ferries are available to connect Port Blair with Havelock and Neil Islands, with travel times of approximately one hour and 90 minutes respectively. These ferries operate frequently and can be easily accessed from the Port Blair jetties.

Additionally, a helicopter service is available to travel from Port Blair to destinations like Havelock, Neil, Diglipur and Hutbay in Little Andaman. However, it's important to note that only certain parts of North Andaman such as Rangat, Diglipur, Baratang and Mayabunadar are connected to Port Blair through the Andaman Trunk Road (ATR).

On the second day, you can opt for a glass bottom boat ride, go on a bird watching tour, or take a historical tour of the city. Take some time to soak up the local atmosphere before venturing further into Havelock and other islands.

Tourists and locals alike frequent popular spots like Nico Bar and Seashells Hotel, which offer live music and a variety of drinks. While you won't find a discotheque or night club, there are plenty of cozy spaces where you can spend a nice evening with a few beers or cocktails.

For a romantic dinner, consider the ANDIICO floating restaurant, which is known for its unique ambiance. Other popular spots for dining and drinks in Port Blair include Sea Sip at Peerless Inn Portico, Pink Fly and Love Garden in Shompen, and Waves by Corbyn Cove Beach.
